Dozen All-Americans Named to 2020 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Preseason Watch List

2019 All-American George Kalaftis currently plays at Purdue.

On Tuesday afternoon the 2020 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Preseason Watch List was released. The award is given annually to the National Defensive Player of the Year.

A total of 12 former All-American Bowl athletes were named to the preseason watch list.

  • DL Jay Tufele (USC)
  • DB Shaun Wade (Ohio State)

In 2019, former All-American Chase Young was named the winner of the award.

Make sure to watch the twenty first edition of the All-American Bowl, Brown will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.
