The All-American Bowl today announced three new additions to the Selection Committee – Snoop Dogg, Brent Williams, and Rick Mantz.

The All-American Bowl Selection Committee works to select and recruit the top senior football players in the nation to participate in the All-American Bowl, the nation’s top high school all-star game. The Selection Committee is comprised of 247Sports, adidas, All-American Bowl and NBC Sports staff, along with Snoop Dogg, Williams and Mantz.

Following are the new additions to the All-American Bowl Selection Committee:

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is a national media personality and has successfully operated the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) in Southern California since 2005. The SYFL has produced several All-Americans over the years, including De’Anthony Thomas, Jack Jones and Jaylin Smith.  Snoop will bring his passion for football and upbeat personality to the committee.

Brent Williams is the President of NextGen Camps, which he founded in 2014.  NextGen Camps discover and provide exposure for the country’s best high school underclassmen and middle school football players. Over the past seven years, more than 7,000 Division I scholarships have been offered to NextGen Alumni.  Williams, a University of Toledo alum, spent 11 years in the NFL as a defensive lineman with the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets.

Rick Mantz is an inductee of the New Jersey Coaches Association Hall of Fame after comprising a career record of 121-60 during his different tenures as a head coach. Previously, he Mantz has served as the Director of High School Football for Rutgers University. Mantz brings over 30 years of coaching and scouting experience to the All-American Bowl.

2024 All-American Jaden Reddell Commits to Georgia

2024 All-American Jaden Reddell from Raymore-Peculiar High School has committed to the University of Georgia.

Kirby Smart and the University of Georgia have landed one of the top pass catchers in the country. 2024 All-American Jaden Reddell from Raymore-Peculiar High School has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. According to 247Sports, Reddell is a four-star prospect and the No. 4 tight end in the nation.

Past Bulldogs selected to play in the All-American Bowl includes the likes of Brock Bowers, Nick Chubb, and Travon Walker.

Reddell will play in the annual East vs. West matchup inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC and Peacock, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.

Carter Nelson (Ainsworth, NE/ Ainsworth High School), the four-star prospect has officially accepted his invitation to the 2024 All-American Bowl. Having been selected to play in the twenty fourth edition of the All-American Bowl, Nelson will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.

Nelson was selected by the All-American Bowl Selection Committee, consisting of the All-American Bowl, 247Sports and NexGen founder Brent Williams. All-Americans are eligible for the All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award, the Anthony Muñoz Lineman of the Year Award, the Defensive Player of the Year Award, the All-American Bowl Man of the Year, the All-American Bowl MVP Award.

Only 100 football players receive the honor of wearing the All-American Bowl jersey each year. Each player selected to participate will culminate their high school careers during the 24th edition of the annual East vs. West matchup. The 2024 All-American Bowl from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, will be presented live on NBC and Peacock.
