The University of South Carolina landed a commitment from standout receiver Landon Samson. The 2022 All-American from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas has verbally committed to the Gamecocks. During his junior season he accumulated over 1,200 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.

Past Gamecocks to participate in the All-American Bowl include the likes of Marcus Lattimore, Mike Davis and Cam Smith.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of putting on the All-American Bowl jersey each year. Each player selected to participate will culminate their high school careers at the All-American Bowl.
