The University of Illinois received a commitment from one of the top kickers in the nation this week. 2023 All-American David Olano from Naperville North High School in Illinois has verbally committed to the Fighting Illini. According to Chris Sailer, Olano is the No.1 kicker in the country.

Past Fighting Illini to participate in the All-American Bowl include the likes of Arrelious Benn, Luke Ford, and Brandon Peters.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of putting on the All-American Bowl jersey each year. Each player selected to participate will culminate their high school careers at the All-American Bowl.
