The University of Texas received a commitment from one of the top offensive linemen in the nation this weekend. 2023 All-American Payton Kirkland from Dr. Phillips High School in Florida has verbally committed to the Longhorns. According to 247Sports, Kirkland is a four-star prospect.

Past Longhorns to participate in the All-American Bowl includes the likes of Vince Young, Derrick Johnson, and Caden Sterns.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of putting on the All-American Bowl jersey each year. Each player selected to participate will culminate their high school careers at the All-American Bowl.
